This morning Father Mervyn presided and preached and Father Martin read the Gospel and led our Intercessions. In his sermon Father Mervyn reminded us that the Risen Jesus was not a ghost or a phantom; in his Resurrection Jesus did not lose his physical humanity. To prove he wasn’t a ghost Jesus ate a piece of baked fish. Like the disciples we have the chance to meet the Risen Lord every time we come to Mass and receive his Body and his Blood.
