St. Augustine’s was nearly full this morning as we celebrated the 3rd Sunday of the Year. Father Martin presided and preached, telling us about the Conference that he and two of the PCC attended yesterday which had been called by the Bishop of Chelmsford. Father Mervyn read the Gospel and concelebrated. Ann led us in our Intercessions
O Sing to the Lord with joyful voice!
We have a very faithful choir who support our worship Sunday by Sunday but now we need your help. We are looking for more people to join them. If you feel, after prayer, that this is something you could offer to St. Augustine’s please come on a Sunday morning at 9.15 a.m. ready to sing – you will be made very welcome.
The Conversion of St. Paul, Wednesday 25th
At the Low Mass on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. anointing will be available for those who would like this ministry.
THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION
There will be a course in preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation beginning in Lent. If you would like to join this please let either Father Martin or Father Mervyn know.
